Call To Action: Say No to Genetically Modified Mosquitoes

“Nearly all experiments with genetically-modified crops have eventually resulted in unintended consequences: super-weeds more resistant to herbicides, mutated and resistant insects also collateral damage to ecosystems. A recent news story reported that the monarch butterfly population is down by half in areas where Roundup Ready GM crops are doused with ultra-high levels of herbicides that wipe out the monarch’s favorite milkweed plant.”

The Petition Is Asking The FDA

  • Not to use them as a testing ground for mutant mosquitoes.
  • To use a third party peer review of the effectiveness and safety of this mutant bug.
  • To look at the long range effects of mutant mosquitoes.

This is a simple call to action. All you have to do go to Change.org and sign the petition to help stop this insanity.
